Peter J. DiMarinis is a partner who practices in the workers’ compensation division at Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP. He is a graduate of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University where he was the recipient of the Scott Skodnick merit scholarship for academic excellence. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. In law school, he worked at the Law Center’s Not-For-Profit Corporate Law Clinic helping local organizations with corporate tax filings.
Prior to joining Pasternack, Peter previously worked as a workers’ compensation trial attorney and commercial litigation attorney. He also interned at American Home Investment Corp. in the corporate legal department.
Peter is the immediate Past President of the statewide Injured Workers’ Bar Association. He previously served as Secretary on the executive board of said Association. He has been named a Lawyer of Distinction for excellence in practice of Workers’ Compensation Law for the years 2017-2021. Peter is a frequent guest lecturer at local bar associations, continuing legal education seminars, labor organizations and medical facilities.
In 2025, Peter was honored by the Injured Workers’ Bar Association for his valuable contributions and service as President. His leadership in this statewide organization reflects his dedication to protecting the rights of injured workers and advancing advocacy efforts that improve outcomes for clients across New York.
