NEW YORK, New York - New York City attorney Edgar N. Romano of Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP, was installed Thursday, May 17th as the new President of the Society of New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association. Prior to being President, Romano served as the 1st Vice President of the organization.

Founded in 1945, the Society of New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association, Inc. is a "bipartisan organization comprised of attorneys representing all parties to workers' compensation claims," according to the organization's website. The organization's purpose "is to identify issues that affect the administration of the Workers' Compensation Law and attempt to offer suggestions for the remediation of these issues in a fair and impartial manner."
