New York Attorney Jordan A. Ziegler Appointed to Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House of Long Island

New York City attorney Jordan A. Ziegler of Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.

"I'm honored to be appointed to the board of such a worthwhile organization that does so much good for the residents of Long Island," Ziegler said. "Families throughout Long Island rely on the Ronald McDonald House to keep families close during a medical crisis. As a board member, I will do everything I can to help this organization achieve their vision."

First opened in 1986, the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island provides comfort and shelter to families "experiencing the pain of having a sick child in local hospital facilities." And like other Ronald McDonald Houses around the country, the one on Long Island provides parents and siblings with a temporary safe haven in a "secure and comfortable environment," according to the organization's website.

Attorney Zielger is a senior partner at Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP. Mr. Ziegler handles a wide range of injury cases, including ones involving workers' compensation, Social Security Disability claims and legal issues involving civil service disability retirement pensions from the New York City and New York State and local retirement systems.

Along with being appointed to the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Mr. Ziegler serves as chair of the law firm's Civil Service Disability Retirement Pension Department. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Advisory Board at Occupational & Environmental Medicine of Long Island at Northwell Health. He has also been named a "Super Lawyer" from 2006 to 2016 in the area of workers' compensation by Super Lawyers magazine.
